Paramecium Model
The Paramecium model is a biological teaching tool used to demonstrate the morphological structure and physiological functions of the single celled organism Paramecium. This model finely reproduces the structures of cilia, oral grooves, food vesicles, flexible vesicles, and cell nuclei of paramecium. In biology teaching, the paramecium model can help students intuitively understand the living habits and survival strategies of single celled organisms, learn how paramecium moves through the oscillation of cilia, uses oral grooves to intake food, and completes life activities such as digestion, excretion, and reproduction through organelles. By observing the model, students can grasp the relationship between cell structure and function, and understand the role and importance of single-cell organisms in ecosystems.
