The carbon dioxide model is an intuitive teaching tool in the teaching of chemical molecular structure, usually composed of colored spheres representing carbon and oxygen atoms and connecting rods, accurately reducing the linear spatial structure of CO ₂ molecules. In teaching, it is used to demonstrate molecular configuration and bonding methods: by demonstrating the binding mode of carbon atoms and oxygen atoms through models, it helps students understand the bonding characteristics of "double bonds" and the symmetry of molecules, transforms microscopic molecular structures into touchable models, assists students in establishing spatial imagination ability, and understands the relationship between molecular configuration and chemical properties. It is an important visualization tool for microstructure teaching.
