Slide rheostat
Sliding rheostat is a linear adjustable resistor that changes the resistance value of the connected circuit by moving the slider. It is mainly used in teaching experiments, instrument calibration, motor speed regulation, load simulation and other scenarios. This device evenly wraps the resistance wire on a high-temperature resistant ceramic tube, and cooperates with precision ground metal guide rails and slides to achieve continuous, stepless, and repeatable adjustment of the resistance. Typical applications: Electrical experiments in high schools/universities: demonstration of Ohm's law, volt ampere characteristics, and voltage divider circuits. Metrological calibration: As a standard variable resistor, calibrate multimeters and bridges. New energy testing: battery discharge, photovoltaic inverter MPPT simulation load.
