The demonstrator is designed to visualize, measure and teach the fundamental physics of ocean circulation and to provide a low-risk test-bed for validating ocean-current energy-harvesting concepts before full-scale deployment.It includes a digital temperature and salinity probe (± 0.1 ° C/± 0.01 PSU) with a color filter LED strip for flow visualization dye accessories package: 3 food grade dyes, measuring spoon, experimental guide.Demonstratible experiments include temperature driven circulation (Gulf Stream simulation), salinity driven sinking plumes (polar upwelling), and Ekman spiral using rotating wind stress caps.The target users are generally earth science courses for grades 8-12, introductory oceanography courses for universities, and geography research enthusiasts.
