Conic section model is an intuitive teaching tool for demonstrating the cross-sectional shape of a cone. It consists of a transparent cone, a rotatable cutting plane, and a base. The cutting plane can be inserted into the cone at different angles to clearly present the cross-sectional shape. In teaching, by adjusting the plane angle, four classical conic curves can be displayed: a circle cut parallel to the bottom, an ellipse with an inclination angle less than the included angle of the bus, a parabola parallel to the bus, and a hyperbola with an angle greater than the included angle of the bus.
