The cycloid formation model is a dynamic teaching tool for demonstrating the trajectory of cycloids. It consists of a rolling circular wheel, a fixed brush, and a track. The wheel edge is embedded with a brush, and when rolling along the track, a continuous cycloid can be drawn on the paper below. In teaching, pushing the wheel to roll, the brush will leave a trajectory of a point on the circle rolling along with the circle, visually presenting the characteristic of cycloid "generated by rolling", helping students master the principle of curve formation, cultivate the thinking of motion geometry, and is a vivid auxiliary tool for teaching analytic geometry and mechanical motion.
